A personal triathlon training-analysis tool, built by one athlete and shared with a few invited friends.
Coacher is a private, self-built system that reads an athlete's own swim, bike and
run activity data, works out what the session actually did — training load, power and
heart-rate distribution, pacing, how it fits the surrounding weeks — and sends the
analysis back to that athlete in plain English.
It is not a product or a company, and it is not offered to the public. It was built
by one athlete for his own training and is shared, by personal invitation only, with a
small number of friends — each of whom sees only their own data.
How WhatsApp is used
Invited recipients only. Messages go only to the phones of
the owner and the few athletes he has personally invited, each of whom opted
in by messaging first. There is no customer list, mailing list, or subscriber
base.
Only their own data. Each athlete receives analysis of their
own training and nobody else's.
Only on request. The system answers messages sent to it and
sends each athlete the analysis of their own sessions. No marketing, no
broadcasts.
No marketing. No promotional, commercial or bulk messages of
any kind are sent. Nothing is sold and nothing is advertised.
Low volume. A handful of messages in a typical week.
What it looks at
Activity files and streams from Strava, read with each
athlete's own authorisation, granted by them on Strava's own site and revocable
by them at any time.
Planned and completed workouts from TrainingPeaks, read-only
(the owner's account only).
Power, heart rate, pace, cadence and elevation recorded by the athlete's own
bike computer and watch.
All of it is each athlete's own training data. The system reads; it never writes
back to those services.
Privacy
Training data stays on a private machine and is not shared, sold or published.
